THE GREAT WEST LIFE MOBILITY TRAIL
The Great West Life Mobility Trail is part of the Dougherty Creek recreational area located 23km south of Prince George. The 450 meter trail was developed by the Tabor Mountain Recreation Society for seniors, wheelchairs, families and the general public. The location of the trail meanders through a natural backdrop of mature Spruce and Douglas fir trees and sections of riparian areas along Dougherty Creek. The natural beauty and tranquility setting provides the opportunity for all to enjoy nature in all its splendor.
The trail possesses several bridges and rails for safety and the protection of the ecosystems. With several benches and a grade less than 5% the opportunity to explore at your leisure makes it possible for all to enjoy a natural setting.
When you walk the trail be observant and see if you can spot the forest guardians!
